Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (400) of retail assistance. The image acquisition unit (104) captures continuous visual data of items and the processor (102-2) identifies objects and maps each object to corresponding entries stored in the product database (110) by analysing the visual data. The processor (102-2) retrieves nutritional and ingredient information and compares the information with user-specific constraints. A display interface (108) presents alerts, recommendations, and nutritional summaries. The system (100) supports informed decision-making by integrating recognition, analysis, and communication functions. The system (100) is integrated with an AI-powered shopping cart (302) that recognizes items, analyzes health impact, warns risks, and suggests recipes in real time while shopping.
