Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-powered, machine learning-based system (100) for real-time detection and compliance monitoring of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage. The system (100) comprises a monitoring unit (101) to capture real-time video feeds; a processing unit (102) to pre-process, detect and analyse captured video feeds; a user interface unit (103) for displaying real-time data and alerts; a storage unit (104) to store video feeds, detection logs, and compliance reports; and an alert system (105) to notify users of any PPE non-compliance in real-time. The system employs machine learning models, including a YOLO model for PPE detection and a TensorFlow model for detecting individuals. Further, the entire system (100) is interconnected via a network unit to facilitate communication between the monitoring unit (101), processing unit (102), and user interface (103) supporting the real-time functionality and integrity of the system and ensure reliable data transmission.
