Abstract: The present invention is a wearable hydration monitoring device in the form of a hand strap that continuously monitors the user's physiological state of hydration via embedded biosensors. It directly senses sweat conductivity, skin moisture content, and localized skin temperature, all representing direct biological proxies for lost electrolytes and depleted fluids. The gathered signals are processed by a microcontroller that applies adaptive filtering, multi-parameter correlation, and computation of hydration index for the accurate and personalized issuance of alerts regarding dehydration. The strap is ergonomically designed, lightweight, and made from breathable and skinfriendly materials to handle prolonged wear in high-activity conditions. Internal electronics are sealed for resistance against sweat, rain, and dust, assuring dependability across various environmental conditions.
