Abstract: Real-Time Heart Disease Monitoring and Prediction Using ECG–PPG Signal Fusion and Machine Learning Abstract The present invention relates to a real-time heart disease monitoring and prediction system using ECG–PPG signal fusion and machine learning. The system integrates synchronized electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) signal acquisition to enable accurate cardiovascular disease prediction and continuous patient monitoring. A signal preprocessing unit removes noise, baseline drift, and motion artifacts from the acquired physiological signals before extracting temporal and morphological cardiac features. A feature fusion unit combines the extracted ECG and PPG features into a unified feature vector, which is analyzed using a Random Forest machine learning classifier to classify subjects as normal or high-risk. The system further includes a healthcare database for secure storage of physiological signals, extracted features, prediction results, and patient monitoring records.
