Abstract: [046] The present invention relates to a real-time face recognition attendance management system with live presence verification and secure attendance event validation. The system comprises an imaging unit, liveness verification module, edge processing unit, facial feature extraction module, secure biometric template database, attendance validation engine, communication module, attendance server, and administrative dashboard. The system captures facial image frames of a user, detects and normalizes the face, verifies live physical presence to prevent spoofing, extracts facial features, matches the extracted features with encrypted registered templates, and validates the attendance request with respect to device identity, location, session, permitted time window, recognition confidence, liveness score, and duplicate attendance status. A valid attendance event is generated only after successful multi-factor validation and is stored with secure event metadata and cryptographic signature. The invention provides contactless, real-time, tamper-resistant, privacy-preserving, and proxy-resistant attendance management for educational institutions, workplaces, laboratories, and controlled premises.
