Abstract: ABSTRACT Engine seizure is one of the most critical failures in internal combustion engines, often resulting in severe mechanical damage, costly repairs, and operational downtime. This project provides an -- ---- - - intelligent engineering solution to prevent such failures through continuous engine health monitoring and automatic protection mechanisms. The proposed system integrates multiple sensors, including temperature sensors, oil pressure sensors, coolant level sensors, fan current sensors, and voltage sensors, to continuously monitor vital engine parameters in real time. Each sensor transmits data to an ESP32 microcontroller, which processes the information using embedded algorithms, filtering techniques, and threshold-based decision logic to determine abnormal engine conditions. When unsafe operating conditions such as overheating, low oil pressure, coolant loss, or electrical instability are detected, the system activates visual and audible alerts and initiates an automatic shutdown mechanism to prevent catastrophic engine damage. The system also supports data logging, diagnostics, and real-time monitoring to improve reliability, safety, and maintenance efficiency in automotive and industrial applications. Keywords: Engine health monitoring, Engine seizure prevention, ESP32 microcontroller, Automatic shutdown system, Oil pressure sensor, Coolant level monitoring, Temperature monitoring, Embedded systems, Real-time diagnostics, Preventive maintenance.
