Abstract: An apparatus for real-time dynamic link budget evaluation in satellite communication systems comprises a data acquisition module configured to receive ground station location data, pass duration time, and Ephemeris data containing orbital parameters of a satellite, data source determination module configured to evaluate whether real-time APIs are available, a real-time data capture module configured to fetch real-time atmospheric data via APIs when available, fallback data module configured to retrieve atmospheric condition data from ITU-R statistical datasets when APIs are not available, physics engine configured to compute derived atmospheric parameters and Doppler shift and elevation angle using orbital parameters. A channel analysis module configured to compute channel attenuation based on ITU-R propagation physics models, link margin synthesis module configured to synthesize link margin dynamically across the pass duration. Based on estimated received power computed from link budget, adaptive coding and modulation controller or relay based transmission module is triggered through side-link. (Figure 1)
