Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a real-time cardiac and stress monitoring system designed to continuously observe and analyze physiological signals using an embedded IoT-based approach. The proposed system utilizes a Raspberry Pi 4 as the core processing unit, integrated with an ECG sensor (AD8232) and a GSR sensor to accurately capture heart activity and skin conductance. A high-resolution ADC (ADS1115) is employed to convert analog sensor signals into precise digital values, enabling reliable real-time data acquisition and processing. The invention incorporates a multi-layered processing framework that includes signal acquisition, data processing, and threshold-based analysis to derive meaningful health parameters such as heart signal patterns, stress level, and hydration status. The system enables real-time visualization through an OLED display and supports remote monitoring by transmitting data to cloud platforms via Wi-Fi. An automated alert mechanism is implemented to detect abnormal physiological conditions and generate timely notifications, ensuring early intervention and improved health awareness. The proposed system is cost-effective, scalable, and easy to deploy, making it suitable for continuous non-clinical health monitoring in home, workplace, and remote environments.
