MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641096382 A) filed by Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation on August 10, 2026, for Real-Time Adaptive Scheduling System For Mobile Edge Computing Using Heuristic Integration.

Inventors include M. Rupasri; Dr. G. P. Saradhi Varma; and Dr. I. Hemalatha.

The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: Real-time adaptive scheduling system for mobile edge computing using heuristic integration is the proposed invention. A dependency extractor derives predecessor and successor sets. A clustering engine calculates successor-overlap correlations and forms resource-bounded task clusters that retain a quotient dependency graph. A constraint-guided particle swarm optimizer decodes particles into discrete cluster-to-virtual-machine schedules and evaluates workflow execution time, dependency delay, computational cost, and load imbalance. Before a candidate can update a best-schedule state, a repair engine corrects precedence, start-time, and resource- capacity violations. A resource-control interface issues virtual-machine reservation, data-transfer, queue-release, and task-execution commands. A runtime monitor blocks child tasks until parent and transfer completion, detects material execution or network deviation, and returns only an affected unstarted subgraph for re- optimization. The system reduces inter-VM transfer, idle reservation, and workflow completion delay.
