The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a ready-to-brew wheatgrass formulation and a method for preparing the same. The formulation comprises a particulate wheatgrass composition of Triticum aestivum harvested at a nutrient peak stage between 8 to 12 days post-germination, dried under controlled conditions at 40°C to 50°C to achieve a moisture content of 5% to 7%, and milled to a particle size distribution having a D50 value of 150 to 300 microns. The particulate composition is enclosed within an infusion-permeable sachet comprising a porous matrix having a pore size smaller than the particle size. Upon infusion, water-soluble phytonutrients are extracted while 90% to 95% of insoluble fiber is retained within the sachet, producing a clear beverage having turbidity of 50 to 150 NTU. The invention provides improved nutrient availability, reduced fiber content, and enhanced clarity compared to conventional wheatgrass formulations.
