MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621094944 A) filed by Mr. Manohar Mukund Jagtap; and Dr. Vikas Vithal Shinde on August 05, 2026, for Reactor Based System And Method Using Aluminum-Alkali Reaction For Hydrogen Generation.
Inventors include Mr. Manohar Mukund Jagtap; and Dr. Vikas Vithal Shinde.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT REACTOR BASED SYSTEM AND METHOD USING ALUMINUM-ALKALI REACTION FOR HYDROGEN GENERATION An intelligent hydrogen generation system (100) for controlled and scalable hydrogen production is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a pressurized reactor (3) configured to generate hydrogen through reaction between aluminum material and an alkaline solution supplied through controllable feed arrangements including an aluminum feed arrangement (1) and an alkaline solution feed arrangement (2). A distributed reactor-integrated sensing architecture comprising IoT-enabled sensors (3.1–3.7) continuously acquires reactor-state parameters including temperature, pressure, pH, liquid level, reaction intensity, and hydrogen flow rate. A reactor control panel (5) operatively connected to the sensing architecture dynamically regulates reactant dosing, reactor pressure, and reactor temperature based on synchronized evaluation of reactor-state parameters to stabilize hydrogen generation across selectable production capacities. Generated hydrogen is processed through a hydrogen handling arrangement (4) comprising purification, drying, pressure management, and storage arrangements. The system further enables remote reactor supervision through an IoT gateway (6) and remote supervision system (7). FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
