MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641092455 A) filed by Geethanjali College Of Engineering And Technology, Hyderabad on July 30, 2026, for Rapidbox Climateshield: Iot-Based Delivery Safety And Temperature Management.
Inventors include Dr. G. Neeraja Rani; Voleti Sai Harshitha; Anushka Manchukonda; and Keerthana Erraveni.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: Cold chain integrity failures cause significant product losses and public health risks in pharmaceutical and food logistics. RapidBox ClimateShield presents an IoT- Based Delivery Safety and Temperature Management system embedding PT100 temperature, SHT31 humidity, ADXL345 accelerometer, LDR lid-open, GPS, and tilt sensors within intelligent package monitoring units. A configurable excursion detection engine classifies temperature deviations and computes mean kinetic temperature per ASTM E1578 and WHO standards. Physical integrity events including shock impacts and unauthorized access are logged with GPS location for liability documentation. 4G LTE with LoRaWAN fallback ensures continuous real-time data transmission. Blockchain-anchored chain-of-custody logs provide tamper-evident compliance documentation. Shipper and recipient dashboards deliver fleet-level monitoring, geofence route tracking, and automated GDP and USP 1079 compliance reports, enabling reliable regulated product delivery management
