MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621096413 A) filed by Kpi Green Hydrogen And Ammonia Private Limited on August 10, 2026, for Ramp-Based Controlled Power Transition System For Stabilizing Electrolyzer Operation In Solar- Battery Hybrid Energy Systems.

Inventors include Komal Rajendra Jarhad; and Sathyajit Shaji.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A coordinated solar-battery power transition system maintains operation of an electrolyzer stack during solar-power variation. An Energy Management System (110) receives photovoltaic power, battery state-of-charge, DC-bus voltage, and DC-bus current measurements; detects a qualifying reduction in solar power; verifies availability of a Battery Energy Storage System (104); and generates synchronized ramp references for a Power Conversion System (108). The Power Conversion System progressively reduces photovoltaic contribution while increasing battery contribution and maintains DC-bus parameters within predetermined limits, thereby delivering substantially continuous power to the electrolyzer stack (114). Upon photovoltaic recovery, the Energy Management System generates a reverse ramp to restore photovoltaic contribution while progressively reducing battery discharge.
