Abstract: A rainwater harvesting and household water management system, comprises a housing 101 equipped with a deployable rainwater collection canopy 102 for residential rainwater harvesting, a rain sensor operatively coupled with an onboard processing unit to detect rainfall intensity and automatically actuate a telescopic support arm 103 integrated between the canopy 102 and the housing 101 to expand or retract the canopy 102, a first-flush water diversion arrangement positioned between the canopy 102 and a multi-stage water purification arrangement, configured to divert contaminated initial runoff and discharge debris and perform filtration operation on the water, and a multi-grade water storage arrangement coupled with the purification arrangement, incoming purified water being selectively directed to the storage arrangement based on sensed water quality parameters via integrated water quality monitoring unit.
