Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to RLC retransmission of a data packet. In one aspect, a first device for wireless communication transmits a first data packet to a second device for wireless communication. Then, the first device triggers a first poll to request a first status report for the first data packet from the second device based on at least one of the following: a delay status of the first data packet, a first end indication of a PDU set comprising the first data packet, or a second end indication of a data burst comprising the first data packet. In turn, the first device transmits the first poll to the second device. With this solution, fast RLC retransmission of a data packet may be achieved.
