Abstract: ABSTRACT QUORUM-ORCHESTRATED QUANTUM SECURE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM The present disclosure provides a method for establishing quantum secure communication comprising receiving, at a receiver node (104), a session request from a sender node (102), selecting helper nodes (106) from a quorum network (100) based on trust scores, and generating a cryptographic membership hash binding a session identifier and node identities. The method comprises performing pairwise BB84 quantum key distribution between quorum nodes to generate pairwise quantum keys and quantum bit error rate metrics, receiving entropy commitments comprising hashes of entropy data and salt values from helper nodes (106), receiving reveal messages, and verifying reveal messages against corresponding commitments. The method comprises deriving a session key by combining a quantum key with verified entropy data, obtaining votes from helper nodes (106) based on a Byzantine fault tolerance condition, performing key confirmation using a hash-based message authentication code, and encrypting communication data.
