Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a quick-change bearing cassette test apparatus comprising a support frame, a drive shaft rotatably supported on the support frame and comprising a bearing seat for receiving an inner ring of a test bearing, and a bearing support block mounted adjacent to the bearing seat. A removable split cassette is received in the bearing support block and comprises first and second cassette portions defining a bearing receiving cavity around an outer region of the test bearing. A guide interface between the removable split cassette and the bearing support block locates the bearing receiving cavity relative to the drive shaft. A cassette locking member retains the cassette portions in a closed condition. A loading assembly applies a test load to a load transfer interface on the removable split cassette, thereby transferring the test load to the outer region of the test bearing.
