Abstract: The present invention relates to a Quantum-Resistant Certificateless Signature System for Secure IoT Authentication, which provides secure authentication and data integrity for Internet of Things (IoT) devices using lattice-based cryptographic techniques. The system comprises a Key Generation Center (KGC), an IoT device registration module, a certificateless key generation module, a lattice-based signature generation module, a signature verification module, and a secure communication framework. During system initialization, the KGC generates public system parameters and a master secret key while issuing only a partial private key to each registered IoT device. Each device independently generates its own secret value and combines it with the received partial private key to derive the complete private signing key, thereby eliminating the key escrow problem. Messages are digitally signed using a lattice-based algorithm founded on the Learning With Errors (LWE) computational problem and are verified by authorized recipients using the corresponding public parameters. The proposed certificateless architecture eliminates certificate management overhead while providing authentication, integrity, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. The invention offers resistance against both classical and quantum computing attacks, making it suitable for resource-constrained IoT devices, industrial automation, healthcare systems, smart cities, intelligent transportation, cloud computing environments, and next-generation secure communication networks.
