MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076049 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on June 19, 2026, for Quantum-Inspired Optimization Techniques To Improve Model Training, Convergence Rate, And Generalization On Various Agricultural Datasets.
Inventor includes Usikela Naresh.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: This quantum-based optimization framework aims to optimize machine learning (ML) algorithms' training time, convergence speed, robustness, and generalizability for a variety of agricultural datasets. The framework incorporates quantum-influenced parameter exploration, probabilistic state transition modeling, adaptive energy landscape development, and tunneling-style optimization techniques that address limitations present in conventional optimization methods. The framework is designed to process the heterogeneous agriculture datasets produced by sensors, drones, satellite images, weather systems and farm management systems.By integrating a hybrid set of optimization methods into the overall framework, improved convergence rates; increased prediction power; reduced computational costs; and enhanced cross- domain generalization can be achieved. The intended applications of the framework include precision agriculture, crop monitoring, disease prediction, yield forecasting, soil condition analysis, and decision-making support for intelligent agriculture.
