Abstract: ABSTRACT QUANTUM-ENHANCED BRAIN-COMPUTER INTERFACE METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF The present invention relates to a brain–computer interface (BCI)-based system and method for real-time control of assistive devices using motor imagery (MI)-based electroencephalography (EEG) signals. The system comprises an EEG acquisition unit configured to capture multi-channel brain signals, a processing unit configured to preprocess and classify the EEG signals using a model, a wireless communication module for transmitting control commands, and an embedded control unit for actuating an assistive device. The preprocessing includes filtering, segmentation, and normalization of EEG signals, followed by classification into motor imagery states including left, right, and rest. The classified outputs are translated into control commands and transmitted to the assistive device via a wireless interface, wherein the embedded control unit executes real-time actuation with a safety-aware control mechanism incorporating command validation and time-bound execution. The system enables reliable, low-latency, and scalable operation for assistive mobility applications.
