Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantum computing enabled medical image reconstruction system configured to reconstruct medical images from complete, incomplete, undersampled, noisy, or degraded imaging data. The system comprises an imaging-data acquisition interface, a preprocessing engine, a reconstruction- model generator, a quantum encoding module, a quantum computational engine, a classical optimization controller, an image reconstruction engine, and an image- quality evaluation module. The imaging-data acquisition interface receives measurement information from a medical imaging modality, and the preprocessing engine performs normalization, noise characterization, sampling analysis, artifact estimation, and dimensional transformation. The reconstruction-model generator establishes a reconstruction objective based on measurement consistency and one or more image constraints.
