Abstract: A quantum-annealing FPGA-accelerated apparatus (100) for geophysical pattern mining is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a quantum sensor array module including a cold-atom gravimeter (101), an NV-diamond magnetometer array (102), and a drone-mounted sensor chassis (103). An edge controller unit comprising an ARM Cortex-M33 microcontroller (401) and a sensor fusion engine (402) receives and processes gravity and magnetic sensor data. A geospatial-QUBO encoding engine including a feature discretizer (201) and an Ising Hamiltonian formulator (203) converts the processed sensor data into a Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization representation. An FPGA quantum annealing accelerator comprising a QUBO solver core (302) and a spin configuration register and energy minimizer (303) performs simulated quantum annealing to determine optimized spin configurations. An association rule engine (501), drill-target classifier (502), haptic alert actuator (601), and communication module (602) provide decoded pattern processing and communication of generated outputs.
