Abstract: Abstract Personal identification is crucial in forensic investigations, especially in situations where conventional methods are not feasible. Dental restorations are highly durable and can withstand extreme environmental conditions, making them useful for forensic identification. The present invention describ-es a forensic dental identification system that incorporates a micro-scale QR code within a dental crown. The QR code, embedded after crown fabrication, encodes a unique identification number linked to a secure digital database. The code can be scanned using smartphone-based optical scanners to retrieve the identifier and access associated identity information. This system provides a permanent, compact, and reliable method for personal identification without affecting the structural integrity or function of the dental restoration. The invention has potential applications in forensic odontology, disaster victim identification, and medico-legal investigations
