Abstract: This study presents a system for heart rate measurement using LabVIEW, a graphical programming environment that excels in data acquisition and instrument control. The primary objective is to develop a non-invasive, efficient, and user-friendly system for accurate heart rate signal acquisition and processing. The proposed system uses pulse sensors to detect heart signals, which are subsequently amplified and filtered to enhance signal quality and reduce noise. These signals are captured and processed in real-time via LabVIEW's data acquisition modules. Through LabVIEW, signal conditioning and peak detection algorithms are implemented to calculate the heart rate. This enables Realtime monitoring and visual display, making the system suitable for quick heart rate assessments in both clinical and non-clinical settings. The system’s adaptability, ease of customization, and compatibility with other LabVIEW tools allow for broader applications in health monitoring, from fitness tracking to medical diagnostics. Results confirm that the LabVIEW-based heart rate measurement system delivers accurate and reliable readings, underscoring its potential as a valuable tool in biomedical engineering and health care.
