Abstract: The invention discloses a pen-shaped micro-dispensing applicator for calcium hydroxide liners such as Dycal. The device comprises two separate chambers containing base paste and catalyst paste, a plunger-actuated delivery system, finger rests for ergonomic operation, a sliding lock ring for storage and dose control, a Y-shaped mixing junction, a transparent static micro-mixer containing a spiral mixing element, and a flexible bendable cannula tip for direct placement into deep cavities. The applicator enables on-demand mixing and immediate placement of calcium hydroxide liner material into the pulpal floor before setting. The device reduces material wastage, prevents premature setting on the mixing pad, improves placement accuracy, and is especially useful in pediatric restorative procedures where chairside time is limited.
