Abstract: UE is configured for operation as a SL server UE performing sidelink positioning in an NR network. The UE comprises front-end circuitry coupled to one or more antennas, and processing circuitry coupled to the front-end circuitry. The processing circuitry is to decode an SL-PRS received from a second UE. The processing circuitry is to encode a request for assistance data for transmission to the second UE in response to reception of the SL-PRS. The request for assistance data includes a request for an antenna reference point (ARP) ID associated with transmission of the SL-PRS. The processing circuitry is to decode a response message received from the second UE in response to the request for assistance data. The response message includes information identifying the ARP ID. The processing circuitry is to perform a positioning measurement of the second UE based on the SL-PRS and the ARP ID.
