MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511082054 A) filed by Poly Medicure Limited on August 29, 2025, for Prosthetic Heart Valve Frame With Adaptive Lattice Structure.

Inventors include Rishi Baid; and Arham Baid.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve frame (10) has interconnected struts (12) and nodes (26) forming three circumferential cell rows (14), expandable from crimped to tubular along a longitudinal axis (L) from inflow (20) to outflow (22). A top row (30) has an axial height (28a) of 45-50% of the total length (24), ensuring coronary access while minimizing conduction disturbances. Commissure attachment posts (36) extend from selected internal nodes (26b) in the top row (30) for securing valve leaflets. Cells (14) in at least one of a middle (32) and bottom (34) row have a concave shape formed by inwardly curved lateral struts (12c), creating a narrowed waist, enhancing conformability to irregular native valve anatomies and improving anchoring stability.
