Inventors include Lora Mishra; Sunidhi Agarwal; and Aneeya Kumar Samantara.

The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT PROPOLIS CONJUGATED GOLD NANOPARTICLES A synergistic antimicrobial nanoparticle conjugate composition comprising: (a) propolis nanoparticles dispersed in an aqueous medium at a concentration of about 220 micrograms per milliliter, comprising bioactive flavonoids, phenolic acids, and terpenoids forming an organic shell; (b) gold nanoparticles synthesized by heat-mediated reduction of chloroauric acid, present at a concentration of about 36 micrograms per milliliter, having a spherical morphology and forming a metallic core; wherein the gold nanoparticles are chemically conjugated to and distributed on an external surface of the propolis nanoparticles, forming a roughened, stable spherical hybrid nanostructure exhibiting: (i) a particle size predominantly ranging from 10 nanometers to 20 nanometers as measured by field emission scanning electron microscopy; (ii) a surface plasmon resonance absorbance peak centred approximately at 545 nanometers observed via UV-visible spectroscopy; (iii) a face-centred cubic crystalline lattice structure characterized by X-ray diffraction planes at (111), (200), (220), and (311).
