Abstract: ABSTRACT PROCESSOR AND METHOD FOR INTELLIGENT ARTICLE STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL The present disclosure relates to processor and method for intelligent article storage and retrieval. The system (100) comprising a storage enclosure (102) having a plurality of individually addressable storage compartments, an article identification subsystem (104), a compartment state sensing subsystem (106), an inventory state database (108), a retrieval planning engine (110), and a compartment control subsystem (112). At least one processor (114) is configured to verify article availability, monitor retrieval using article identification and compartment state information, update the inventory state database (108) based on verified retrieval events, dynamically regenerate a retrieval sequence in response to inventory state changes, and control compartment actuation according to the regenerated retrieval sequence.
