To this end, i) a description (A) of an installation (20) stored on a server (30) in a predetermined file format is accessed (S2) using a terminal (40); ii) the installation data (D), which characterises an operating state of the system (20), is retrieved (S3) by the server (30); and, iii) the installation description (A) stored on the server (30) is enriched with the retrieved installation data (D) and output (S4) via the terminal (40).
