MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641061338 A) filed by Sharmili. T; and Ragam. M on May 14, 2026, for Process Of Synthesizing Double Perovskite Nano-Rods For Super Capacitors.
Inventors include Sharmili. T; and Ragam. M.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The process of synthesizing double perovskite nano-rods comprises of mixing yttrium nitrate hexahydrate [Y(No3)3-6H2O], cobalt nitrate hexahydrate [Co(No3)3.6H2O] and manganese acetate tetrahydrate [C4H6MnO4.4H2O] in the molar ratio of 2:1:1, dissolving the mixture in the double distilled water, stirring the mixture with 5M NaOH solution to adjust the pH value to 12, hydrothermally heating the mixed solution in a Teflon-lined autoclave to 200 °C for 24 hours, washing the heated mixture solution with the solution of distilled water, acetone and ethanol, then dried in air to a temperature of 70 °C and calcinated in the muffle furnace to the temperature of 1000 °C to get Y2CoMnO6 nano-rods. Finally, the synthesized Y2CoMnC 6 nano-rods are coated on nickel foam then matched with JCPDS: 00-038-1289 for identifying its morphological characteristics. The end product can be used as cathode in super- capacitor.
