Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for Process For The Preparation Of Pure N-Ethyl Aniline

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421064456 A) filed by Alchemie Finechem Private Limited on August 22, 2024, for Process For The Preparation Of Pure N-Ethyl Aniline.

Abstract: Provided is the process for the preparation of n-ethyl aniline by reacting aniline and ethyl alcohol in the presence of alumina catalyst, wherein the aniline and ethyl alcohol used in the molar ratio of 1:0.5 to 1:2. The process also involves separation of n-ethyl aniline and n, n-diethyl aniline using column distillation to obtain pure n- ethyl aniline.
