Abstract: ABSTRACT PROCESS FOR PREPARING ANTIFUNGAL NANOEMULSION GEL FOR TREATMENT OF CUTANEOUS CANDIDIASIS AND ANTIFUNGAL NANOEMULSION GEL The present invention discloses a process for preparing an antifungal nanoemulsion gel for treatment of Cutaneous Candidiasis, said process comprising of preparing a Sertaconazole Nitrate (STZ) nanoemulsion; preparing a homogenous gel by using Carbopol 940P, wherein the Carbopol acts as a gel-forming polymer; combining the Sertaconazole Nitrate (STZ) nanoemulsion and the homogenous gel in a 1:10 ratio to form a nanoemulsion gel of the sertaconazole nitrate (STZ); adding Triethanolamine to adjust pH level of the nanoemulsion gel of the sertaconazole nitrate (STZ).
