The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for inhibiting intein splicing in a precursor protein, the method comprising; taking the precursor protein in a buffer and TCEP- HCl to obtain a mixture; adding ZnO nanoparticles to the mixture and allowing to react for a period in the range of 4 -6 hours; stopping the reaction by addition of a loading dye; and observing results of the reaction by an electrophoresis method, wherein accumulation of the precursor protein and reduction of splicing and N-terminal cleavage products confirm the inhibition of intein splicing in the precursor protein.
