MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075992 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on June 19, 2026, for Privacy-Preserving Air Pollution Prediction And Exposure Control Framework Using Machine Learning For Smart Cities..
Inventors include Dr. Banoth Samya; and Dr. T. Venkata Ramana.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The current advance indicates a Privacy-Preserving Air Pollution Prediction and Exposure Control Framework for Smart Cities which is used to support users and authorities from harmful pollutants in the initial phases. The system checks environmental data like air quality readings, sensor data, and weather information and then it processes over the data preprocessing entity to adjust the quality of data and to protect its information. The processed data is then used in machine learning models to detect and label the pollution levels. This system observes the pollution level and identifies the data for further inspection. When the pollution level exceeds the certain threshold levels then the alarms ring automatically and send this information to the user and authorities with the help of proper communication platforms. This establishment will help in early prediction of pollution from harmful pollutants, its exposure and it improves public safety with organizing a proper environmental monitoring system.
