Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a privacy-preserving AI-powered web browser configured for real-time phishing detection and multilingual webpage translation using local processing. The system includes a user interface module, browser engine module, security module, translation module, decision module, and display output module. When a user enters a URL, the security module extracts URL-based features and processes them using a machine learning classifier, preferably a Random Forest classifier, to determine whether the website is safe, suspicious, or unsafe. Based on the classification result, the decision module allows webpage access, generates a warning, or blocks the webpage. After webpage loading, visible webpage text is extracted and translated through a locally implemented Transformer-based neural machine translation model into selected regional languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, or other supported languages. The browser performs translation and threat detection locally without transmitting browsing content to external cloud APIs, thereby improving privacy, reducing latency, and enhancing accessibility. The invention is useful for secure browsing, regional language access, education, enterprise privacy, and protection against phishing websites.
