Abstract: This printed matter comprises: a base material on a surface of which a three-dimensional pattern of recesses and projections is formed; and an ink part which is a portion formed of ink printed on the base material and printed on the pattern of recesses and projections. The pattern of recesses and projections on the base material is constituted of at least one of: a reference surface part, which is a portion constituting a reference surface, with a plurality of projecting parts formed in a shape that protrudes with respect to the reference surface part; and the reference surface part with a plurality of recessed parts formed in a shape that is recessed with respect to the reference surface part. When the ink part placed on an upper end part of at least some of the plurality of projecting parts is defined as a projecting part ink part and the ink part disposed on a bottom part of at least some of the plurality of recessed parts is defined as a recessed part ink part, the ink part is composed of the projecting part ink part and/or the recessed part ink part.
