Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for Pressurized Chamber For Carbonation Curing Of Cementitious Pre-Cast Material And Method Thereof

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511014580 A) filed by Thapar Institute Of Engineering And Technology; and Nbcc India Limited on February 20, 2025, for Pressurized Chamber For Carbonation Curing Of Cementitious Pre-Cast Material And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Dr. Shweta Goyal; and Himanshu Guleria.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides an efficient pressurized chamber for carbonation curing of cementitious pre-cast material which helps in maintaining the high pressure of CO2 with concertation, relative humidity and temperature inside the chamber. The chamber controls the carbonation curing parameters such as pressure, concentration, temperature and relative humidity with live tracking of carbon sequestration in cementitious system.
