Abstract: PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE APPLIED IN GLASS FIBRE GEOGRID TECHNOLOGY AND INSTALLATION OF THE GLASS FIBRE GEOGRID USED FOR REINFORCEMENT IN FLEXIBLE AND RIGID PAVEMENT The present invention provides a pressure sensitive adhesive coating (300) to binds a glass fibre geogrid (100) with a layer of bitumen/concrete in pavement structures (500). The present invention discloses a composition of an adhesive coating (300) for glass fibre geogrid (100) used for reinforcement in flexible and rigid pavement structure (500) Further, the invention discloses a method of manufacturing the pressure sensitive adhesive coating (300). The adhesive coating (300) is used in a glass fiber geogrid (100) for reducing cost, and improved performance and durability. Further, the invention discloses alternate installation techniques wherein the geogrid may be placed either over a tack-coated surface or over a dry asphalt surface followed by application of a tack coat.
