MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531028601 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed To Be University on March 26, 2025, for Pressure Management Assistive Device.

Inventor includes Dr. Binayak Pattanayak.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A pressure management assistive device, comprising a hollow cylindrical body 101 structured to attach to a vehicle tire valve, an expandable circular ring 102 provided at top of body 101 fit upon valve via multiple suction cups 103 for adhering to valve’s surface, a pressure sensor embedded in body 101 detect air pressure within tire, a LED light 104 installed on body 101 provide visual indication of tire’s pressure status with different colors, a vertical telescopically operated pin 105 attached to inner section of body 101 press tire valve to relieve excessive air pressure, a motorized iris lid 106 installed on body’s 101 end open/close for relieving excess air from tire via valve to maintain optimal air pressure, a vibration sensor embedded in body 101 detect unusual vibrations/movements within tire, indicating air leaks/tire imbalances, based on which a wireless notification is sent to a computing unit for notifying user.
