Abstract: The present invention focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a polyherbal soap incorporating natural plant-based ingredients with known medicinal properties. The growing preference for herbal products over synthetic formulations has driven interest in developing skincare solutions that are safe, eco-friendly, and effective. In this research, a polyherbal soap was prepared using extracts from selected medicinal plants such as Azadirachta indica (Neem), Curcuma longa (Turmeric), Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi), Aloe vera, and Citrus limon (Lemon), each known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin-nourishing properties. The soap was formulated through a cold saponification method and evaluated for various physicochemical parameters including pH, foamability, hardness, cleansing action, and skin compatibility. The antimicrobial efficacy of the soap was tested against common skin pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli using agar diffusion methods. The results indicated that the polyherbal soap exhibited desirable cleansing properties and significant antimicrobial activity while maintaining skin- friendly pH levels. The study concludes that polyherbal soap offers a promising natural alternative to commercial soaps, providing therapeutic benefits along with skin care. It supports the potential of herbal formulations in promoting sustainable and health-conscious personal care products.
