MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611040508 A) filed by Galgotias University on March 31, 2026, for Predictive Vehicle-To-Vehicle Safety Synchronization System For Two- Vehicle Collision Mitigation.

Inventors include Dr. Suman Rani; and Dr. Jaibir Singh.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart wound dressing system for early detection of wound infection using integrated biosensors and wireless communication technology. The dressing comprises a multilayer structure including a protective layer, a sensor-embedded layer, an absorbent layer, and an adhesive layer. The system incorporates biosensors configured to monitor infection-related biomarkers including pH, temperature, moisture, and volatile organic compounds associated with bacterial activity. A microcontroller unit processes sensor data and identifies abnormal wound conditions based on predefined threshold values. The dressing further includes a wireless communication module for transmitting wound data to external devices such as smartphones or healthcare monitoring systems using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Near-Field Communication (NFC), or equivalent protocols. Upon detection of infection indicators, the system generates alerts for timely medical intervention. The invention enables continuous, non-invasive, real-time wound monitoring while supporting remote healthcare and telemedicine applications.
