Abstract: Predictive Thermoregulatory Risk Management System Using Wearables and Radiant Microclimate Beacon Network This invention describes a predictive thermoregulatory risk management system for monitoring and controlling occupational heat strain in outdoor environments. The system integrates wearable physiological sensing with a distributed environmental microclimate monitoring network to evaluate individualized thermal stress experienced by workers. Physiological indicators including heart rate, skin temperature, and motion-derived activity data are combined with environmental measurements comprising ambient temperature, humidity, radiant heat exposure, and surface temperature of nearby materials. A dual-emissivity radiative sensing configuration enables estimation of radiant heat flux and convective heat exchange in a compact form factor. A physics-constrained human heat balance model processes the collected data to estimate individualized heat storage dynamics and generate predictive thermal risk metrics. Adaptive parameter identification routines refine physiological model parameters based on observed worker responses. A constraint-aware optimization module generates operational recommendations including microbreak scheduling, task reassignment, and spatial repositioning to maintain physiological safety margins while minimizing disruption to workplace productivity.
