MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109875 A) filed by Yasir Mohammad Alvi on September 13, 2026, for Predictive Supply Chain Disruption Detection And Adaptive Inventory Risk Management System Using Multi-Source Event Correlation.

Inventor includes Yasir Mohammad Alvi.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A predictive supply chain disruption detection and adaptive inventory risk management system is disclosed. The system receives heterogeneous internal and external event observations and converts them into canonical event objects having temporal, geographic, entity, event-type, provenance and source-reliability attributes. Source- independent observations are correlated into a disruption episode while duplicated or contradictory evidence is discounted. The disruption episode is mapped to a supply-network graph and propagated through constrained dependency paths to determine item-location specific disruption probabilities and time-to-impact distributions. An adaptive inventory risk model combines the propagated exposure with probability-adjusted inbound supply, usable inventory, commitments, demand, lead-time uncertainty, substitution availability and criticality to determine a confidence-qualified risk state and projected shortage interval. A mitigation response engine ranks feasible responses including transfer, alternate sourcing, rerouting, order adjustment, reservation or substitution, and executes an action only within a defined authorization envelope. A feedback engine updates source reliability, correlation, propagation, risk calibration and mitigation effectiveness from observed outcomes. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
