Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent water wastage prevention system for residential buildings configured to monitor, detect, and prevent unnecessary water loss. The system comprises sensor unit including flow, pressure, and water level sensors, control unit with embedded adaptive learning software, an automatic shut-off valve assembly, and user notification interface. The control unit continuously collects and analyzes real-time sensor data to establish normal household water usage patterns and compares subsequent water consumption with the learned profile to identify abnormal conditions such as pipeline leakage, unattended water flow, and storage tank overflow. Upon detection of persistent abnormal water usage, the system generates real-time alerts and automatically regulates or interrupts the water supply to minimize water wastage. The present invention provides early detection, intelligent decision-making, automated water flow control, reduced household water consumption, lower water bills, and improved conservation of freshwater resources through a reliable and user-friendly residential water management solution.
