MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511002965 A) filed by Nuvis Scientific Research Pvt. Ltd. on January 13, 2025, for Predictive Maintenance System For Autonomous Vehicles Using Machine Learning And Iot Sensors.
Inventor includes Brij Mohan Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Predictive Maintenance System For Autonomous Vehicles Using Machine Learning And Iot Sensors A predictive maintenance system for autonomous vehicles (AVs) using machine learning (ML) algorithms and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors to track and forecast the condition of vital vehicle components in real time is the subject of the invention. Temperature, pressure, vibration, and electrical sensors are among the sensors that the system gathers data from in order to continually evaluate the state of the vehicle's subsystems. By using machine learning models to evaluate both historical and current data, proactive maintenance scheduling is made possible by anticipating possible faults before they happen. The fleet management of autonomous cars is made more effective by this predictive strategy, which decreases downtime, improves safety, maximizes vehicle performance, and prolongs the lifespan of the vehicle's components.
