The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: This patent proposes the predictive maintenance of Mitsubishi A800 series Variable Frequency Drive in ordered to reduce the downtime in industry. The proposed system keeps on monitoring the VFD performance and sensing the data like processor temperature, scan time, Drive I/O boards, communication modules, and other built in VFD protocol networks. The data is analyzed from the Variable frequency drive by the ML algorithm and the decision is taken based on the preset/past conditions. The proposed system provides the monitoring facility and the user can see the data visually from the controller using Touch Panels or display panels. The overall efficiency and life span of the VFD is improved and the unexpected breakdowns are minimized.
