MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115427 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on September 26, 2026, for Predictive Cooking-Energy Deficit And Thermal-Sufficiency Orchestration System For Solar- Powered Adaptive Steam Cooking.

Inventors include Ramakrishnan O; Mohammed Kaif K; and Pravin G.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT PREDICTIVE COOKING-ENERGY DEFICIT AND THERMAL-SUFFICIENCY ORCHESTRATION SYSTEM FOR SOLAR-POWERED ADAPTIVE STEAM COOKING A system (100) for predictive cooking-energy orchestration includes a photovoltaic subsystem (102), rechargeable battery (106), thermal-energy storage unit (110), heating element (112), steam-generation chamber (116), cooking chamber (118) with idli tray (120), sensors (122, 124, 126, 128), and central controller (130). The controller (130) calculates a Cooking Energy Deficit, determines a Thermal Sufficiency Margin comparing usable thermal energy against the deficit, inhibits battery discharge when photovoltaic and thermal energy suffice, evaluates photovoltaic persistence before source transition, and verifies the cooking endpoint using multi-condition verification with recovery re-routing.
