MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641064148 A) filed by Srm Institute Of Science And Technology Tiruchirappalli on May 21, 2026, for Predictive Agriculture Using Wsn Data And Ml..
Inventors include Rishikeshwaran Ramesh; Aravind. S; M. Dharani Bharathi; and Dr. M. Jothi.
The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: Agricuture is more challenged today by various parameters such as climate, water utiliza-tion. So this method of predictive agriculture solves the issue by integrating WSN sensors and Machine learning techniques. This WSN sensor helps to monitor the data continuous-ly such as temperature, humidity and many parameters. The data which are collected are processed into an ML model and predict timely irrigation as well as pesticide sprinkling for the crop. This project enables good AI decision making rather than manual control. By the integration of the WSN sensors and ML models it reduces the over water usage, in-crease sustainability in agriculture. Thus this work involves integration of ML and WSN sensors to improve the predictive agriculture accuracy for smart agriculture.
