Abstract: The current invention is a Precision Rectifier-Based AC Signal Measurement System that can accurately measure alternating current (AC) signals, especially low- amplitude AC voltage signals, which standard diode-based rectifier circuits can't do reliably. The current invention uses a precision rectifier circuit with an operational amplifier to get around the problems that come with traditional rectification methods. The system connects the AC input signal to a circuit that accurately turns it into DC. The operational amplifier connects the diode's voltage drop in the forward direction. The filtering circuit then removes the ripple parts from the rectified signal, leaving a smooth DC output. We get a certain amount of DC voltage depending on how big the AC signal we put in is. We can use either analog or digital tools to get very precise measurements of this. You can connect voltmeters, microcontrollers, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), or digital displays to the system. The invention gives you a simple, cheap, and reliable way to measure the AC signal with high accuracy, better linearity, and low distortion. It's easy to change the system for different uses and measurement ranges because it is made up of separate parts.
